Historian of literature, Assistant Professor in IBL PAN, Director of IBL PAN post-graduate studies..
Born 1957 in Warsaw. Graduated from the Polish Studies Department (1981). 1981-1997, TA in the Institute of the Theory of Reading and the Method in Literature of the Polish Language Institute. PhD (1996) in the IBL PAN: "Text and the Holocaust. About the Narratives from the Warsaw Ghetto".
Research interests:
analysis of border-line experiences (in particular from the time of the Holocaust), study of different perspectives and types of discourse, history of the Warsaw ghetto.
